Dear Visitor Welcome to our new look Newsletter. 2011 is shaping up to be a wonderfully creative year.
Graham Hay's paperclay workshop in March had us all playing with 'mud'. Well, close enough. Paperclay is a versitile medium to build all sorts of structures from delicate pieces to large sculptures. Breaking is no hassle - work can be patched and fixed time and time again till you get what you want. You can even soften it all down and start again! Worlds of Wonder
The next Sunday workshop is 'Painting with Paper'. This is my unique form of collage which produces work that looks more like an oil or watercolour painting. The workshop is perfect for people who would like to break out of tight, precise work and experience the freedom and magic of this technique. No art experience is necessary as everyone is guided through the process of exploring this medium to produce one or more pictures by the end of the day. The skills in the use of the tissue are also suitable for teachers of art at both the primary and secondary level.
Take a look at the Sunday workshop program and treat yourself to a day of relaxing creativity.
