Painting with Paper

In this workshop you will be taught my techniques and methods and then go on to create your own 'paper painting' using my exclusive paper, to take home at the end of the day. It is a great way to relax and experience something new.

I work with tissue paper collage which produces work that looks like a painting rather than the traditional usage of collage which usually highlights the attached pieces. I spray acid free white tissue paper with brilliant and vibrant Australian made Art Spectrum acrylic inks which I mix to produce different colours. I spray in different ways to obtain different textures as well. This paper is then used as my 'paint palette'. The images are built up through overlaying the paper.

This full day workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who have some artistic experience. It is also perfect as a PD for teachers. It is inclusive of all materials, morning and afternoon teas. Please bring lunch with a little extra to share.
